Anchorage’s longest running Halloween Carnival will be held this Saturday, October 25, 2014 from 6-8:00pm at the school.
We’ve got a lot of family friendly activities planned and hope to see all of our students and families at the event.
This event is sponsored, planned, and run by our fabulous PTA and the many volunteers that have signed up to help. Proceeds go to support student and classroom activities at Airport Heights Elementary.
Airport Heights School hosts the oldest and longest running Halloween Carnival in Anchorage. The PTA has been working hard to make this the best carnival ever.
The fun starts at 6pm on Saturday, October 26, 2013
The will be food, fun, and prizes until 8 pm.
Win a cake at the Cake Walk, impress your friends by singing at the Karaoke station, enjoy a snack or meal with your neighbors in the multi-purpose room or fill your bag with goodies in the Trick-or-Treat Hall.
Thanks to everyone that helped and participated in the annual Halloween Carnival.
The PTA took in about $1800 (before expenses) and the school saw hundreds of happy families wandering the halls at Airport Heights.
Special gratitude for Mrs. Dickey and the PTA (especially Joanne and Ed).
We had volunteers helping from East High, the Church of Latter-Day Saints, Airport Heights Community Council, parents, teachers, and neighbors. Thanks again, to everyone that had a hand in this successful event.
It was a blast.
The Airport Heights PTA is looking for some fun loving parents & neighbors to help with our 57th Annual Halloween Carnival. The event takes place on October 27, 2012 at Airport Heights School.
Volunteering is fun and easy. Here are a few ways that you can help the school:
- Donate a bag of candy for Trick-or-Treat Hall
- Sign up to run a game booth. You take tickets and hand out prizes for about an hour.
- Help design and build a Haunted House.
- Help serve food.
- Join us to help set up before or clean up after the carnival
This is a long running event in our neighborhood and some say the oldest Halloween Carnival in Anchorage. Please help us to make this a great night for our kids!
